What happens next?

Once your company has been formed by Companies House, we will send you an Order Fulfillment email containing a link to apply for your new WorldFirst Business Account. If your bank account application is successful, WorldFirst will send you your UK bank account number and sort code soon afterwards. Account openings are subject to approval.

Digital Certificate of Incorporation

We will send you a digital PDF version of your company's Certificate of Incorporation. This is the document which verifies the company is officially registered with Companies House.

Digital Memorandum & Articles of Association

A digital copy of your company's Memorandum & Articles of Association. These documents are required to form a company under the Companies Act 2006.

The Memorandum lists the subscribers to the company and confirms their intention to incorporate and take at least one share each.

The Articles of Association defines the rules which govern how the company will be run.

Digital Share Certificate(s)

A digital version of your share certificates sent by email. These official documents provide evidence of your ownership of shares in a limited company.

Digital (PDF) Company Register with first entries

A digital version of your company's statutory registers, with the first entries completed at the date of incorporation. Our Company Register contains the following documents:

Registered Office Address London WC2

Protect the privacy of your home with our prestigious London registered office address.

This service allows you to maintain the privacy of your home address, as our prestigious Covent Garden, London address will appear on public record as the official address of your company. This service includes the scanning and emailing of all official government mail addressed to your company, from a number of official government bodies, free of charge.

Mail from the following government bodies are covered by this service: Companies House, HMRC, Government Gateway, Department for Work & Pensions (DWP), The Pensions Regulator (TPR), Office for National Statistics, Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and Court documents.

This service is renewable on a 12 monthly basis at the cost of £39.00. Notice will always be given in advance of your renewal date and you will be able to cancel the service.

Please note: The forwarding of official registered office mail by scan and email is free. Mail will be forwarded on a daily basis.

1 x Service Address Covent Garden, London WC2

When you form a limited company, you need to provide a service address (sometimes referred to as a correspondence address) for each director, shareholder, secretary (an optional appointment) and person with significant contol.

Companies House, and other government bodies (such as HMRC) will then use this address as the contact address for said role.

Whilst using a home address as the service address is permitted, it is not recommended as it is placed on the public register, meaning anyone can easily find it.

By using this service you can protect your address from the public register by using our Covent Garden address as the service address for one of your company officers.

When government mail does arrive (and any Court document), we will scan and email this to you (at no extra cost).

About renewals: This service renews at £26.00 (+VAT) on a yearly basis. You will receive a notification as the renewal date nears, you can then cancel the service if you wish.

Business Address Service London WC2

Quality Company Formations' London business address service allows you to use our prestigious Covent Garden address for your everyday business correspondence.

An address based in central London is an ideal way to improve the image of your company and impress potential clients.

All mail will be forwarded to you by scan and email on the same day we receive it.

Please note: This service is renewable on a 12 monthly basis at the cost of £96.00. We will give notice in advance of your renewal date. You will then have the option to cancel if you wish. The forwarding of mail to you is not included. Mail forwarding by scan and email is charged at 50p per item. Items of value that cannot be sent by scan and email, such as bank cards, with be sent to an address of your choice by First Class post. This will be charged at Royal Mail postal rates plus 15%.

VAT Registration

Our highly trained staff will process your VAT registration, quickly and accurately.

If you expect your company’s turnover to exceed £90,000 in the next 12 months, you are legally required to register for VAT, unless your company's supplies are exempt.

If your company’s turnover is not expected to exceed £90,000, you should consider voluntarily registering for VAT anyway.

For example:

• You will be able to claim back VAT on goods and services your company purchases
• Enhance the corporate image of your company by making it appear larger than it actually is
• Enable contractual agreements with customers and suppliers who aren’t willing to deal with companies that are not VAT registered.

The VAT registration process – explained

As soon as your company has been formed, you will receive a questionnaire by email from us, where we will ask you to provide some additional information to allow us to complete your VAT registration application with HMRC.

We will then make your VAT registration application online. The timeline for the approval of new VAT registrations is subject to the information received and HMRC's workload, which can vary significantly.

Once HMRC has approved your company’s VAT registration, we will send your company’s VAT Registration Number to you by email. HMRC will then send your VAT Registration Certificate to you directly by post.

Filing of the First Confirmation Statement

(including Companies House filing fee)

The Confirmation Statement is a report that notifies Companies House if the information that they hold on record is correct.

Your company will need to file a Confirmation Statement on a yearly basis, even if it is not trading. This is a legal requirement.

With this service our dedicated team will ensure your Confirmation Statement is prepared and filed accurately and in accordance with your deadline.

Please note: This service is renewable every 12 months at a cost of £59.99 (which includes the £34.00 Companies House filing fee).

Notice will always be given in advance of your renewal date and you will be able to cancel the service.

Full Company Secretary Service

Our Full Company Secretary Service is our premium service, providing 15 company changes per year to ensure your company stays compliant, and much more.

What's included?

• Up to fifteen changes to your company per year, including director appointments, share transfers and share allotments free of charge (additional transactions thereafter are charged at our standard rates).
• Preparation and filing of your annual Confirmation Statement, including the Companies House filing fee of £34.00.
